About Me

My photo
like the lamp in the wind..strong yet delicate..determined yet flickery..calm yet disturbed...me yet not me...different facets...just a nomad on the road called life

Love at first sight

This months blog totally dedicated to falling in love...

Have you ever met a person on the way...who looked at you and you felt like you've known him or her for a long long time and you know its not just you who felt that way, you can see it in their eyes too..dedicating this poem to such moments and strangers whom we may never meet again..but that moment which would be treasured as one eternal bonding existing beyond space and time....

LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT...

A rustle of the leaves
A crowded lane
How do your eyes find mine
and mine find yours
What is it that makes us connect
Like a calling
Not an urge
But a peaceful melody
A tune played by souls
For undefinable eternity
A few moments for you to walk past by me
Yet a million unspoken words
A familiar feeling of peace
Where everything goes to a standstill
And the only thing that exists is a reflection of me
Here names cease to exist
And so do identities
The only thing that exists is the moment
crafted in time
Tomorrow you may never walk the same lane
Tomorrow I may never see you again
But the depth of eternity in that moment held
Is enough to know
That love is alive at my end.

  3. I like it.

I could imagine a beautiful woman and a good looking guy walking by each other. Warm, balmy day with a sepia color tone. The shy woman sees the man notice her, and in a gesture of acceptance puts a wayward strand of her hair behind her ears. She looks up to see the man look back at her, walking by.

They smile. They cross each other.

The woman's smile is shy and demure, and the man turns away, still smiling. Camera pans to the sky above.

Nice! However, some grammatical mistakes were there. Like this one: "How does your eyes find mine". Eyes are plural, so it should be 'do' and not 'does'! :D hehe sorry old habits die hard boju.. Keep the happiness flowing.
