Enormous turmoil in the heart
Unnecessary rumblings in the head
Unwillingness to accept reality
And reality is I am alone
Something that cannot even be changed by supernatural
It’s just that way
Meant to be
And I have nothing to do
But bow down to this very Reality and accept
Someone just rightly said
There are two things in life
One is something that you can do something about
And the other is something that you can do nothing about
And you should leave the ones that you can do nothing about
To sort out by themselves
There is one thing that is still there
The wonderful sunsets
Calming the rising storms
Promising a new day ahead.

Conversations in my head...between me and ME...
Life goes a full circle
Mostly a repetition
Only the roles have changed
First it was you
Now its me
Saying I love you
But failing to define it
Asking questions
Maybe...it's not?
Or Maybe it is?
Or is it just a major obsession to fill in the empty seat beside me
Nod and smile to the passerby..
Proud of a prize I won
So its a prize?
Or a person, a God sent gift or a reflection of my soul?
But that's all theory
Practicality says
No staying alone
Impossible to survive
But some have...
Again I compare
No no...its my life
No comparisons
Every second unique...including me
But wasn't that the jargon the self help courses teach
First it was you
Now I am depressing for you
You say my home is depressing too
Five days and I haven't eaten proper
And the place I stay ( I call it that way for its just walls and windows)
Is but filled with things strewn around..
I just wanted the feel of chaos..
Sounds intellectual or something
More like a chaos theory...
But its just a covered up story I tell myself
The fact is..
I am broken
So is the place
I am packing my bags to leave....
The question is
Should I lock up the sadness
And throw it on the way
I wish things were that way
But it's not
Logic doesn't work here
See
I am standing right where you used to be.
I just could not subtract you
Or add up new feelings in me
All that happened is..feelings built
But now its too late
You are standing right where I used to be.

Love at first sight
This months blog totally dedicated to falling in love...
Have you ever met a person on the way...who looked at you and you felt like you've known him or her for a long long time and you know its not just you who felt that way, you can see it in their eyes too..dedicating this poem to such moments and strangers whom we may never meet again..but that moment which would be treasured as one eternal bonding existing beyond space and time....
LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT...
A rustle of the leaves
A crowded lane
How do your eyes find mine
and mine find yours
What is it that makes us connect
Like a calling
Not an urge
But a peaceful melody
A tune played by souls
For undefinable eternity
A few moments for you to walk past by me
Yet a million unspoken words
A familiar feeling of peace
Where everything goes to a standstill
And the only thing that exists is a reflection of me
Here names cease to exist
And so do identities
The only thing that exists is the moment
crafted in time
Tomorrow you may never walk the same lane
Tomorrow I may never see you again
But the depth of eternity in that moment held
Is enough to know
That love is alive at my end.

Then and now
An old picture back ten years or so from now
A college picnic near the river called Mazhitar
It's amazing how things change in ten years
They say its a long time
It sure feels like
For the me staring back at me
Is not the same me now
Those eyes speak of definitions
Different from what I define life as now
It's a picture of people who stayed ten years back
And people who moved on to the now
I met this guy the other day
Who still talks of his college crush
The irony of the situation is
She may never even think of him now
Some love stay
Some love wait
Some love just fade away
If there was a measure of finding the best kind of love
Maybe it would be the one that waits
But thats not my story
My story
Is about a girl back then
different from the woman that is now
Maybe definitions are never perfect
Maybe the life I defined then
Was the best way life could ever be defined
For the definitions I have now are all smudged
Clouded behind ten years of dust...
Accumulated in being the me now.

Strangers undefined
Thoughts flow out of my mind
Like notes strung on a guitar
Of she says
And he says
And they say
About life and love.
Where love floats like a thin film above our heads
And I try to define it
And I try to find answers
but its so above my head
Yet its there
And covers the entire you and me
And the hes and the hers
and the thems
Yet its love
Just a fragrance
Floating in and out of our systems
Definitions unheard
Unexplained beyond his and hers
Still my feet are grounded to the earth
The earth on which I walk
Eat and sleep
Live among strangers
and call them society
There are rules and definitions
And love gets locked up
in the four corners of the place "defined" as a home
With amenities and providers
And the home maker
It forgets to float
It forgets to flow in and out
Dies and withers in a corner
Between strangers called family.
Like notes strung on a guitar
Of she says
